Kaus Australis and companions. Are hidden by the damn hedge! Beautifully composed to fit in with the stars above my head. Earlier this ...

Musings of astronomy, past, present and future. from the county of Pembrokeshire. Telescopes - Past and Present. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Transient Lunar Phenomenon (TLP). Due to the cloudy skies of late I haven't been able observe the night skies. This gave me time to dig through some of my journals. I found an interesting entry from 2006 under the heading of TLP! TLP stands for Transient Lunar Phenomenon, a term coined by the late, and much missed, Patrick Moore. Clear Skies. soon PLEASE! First men in...

Real Astronomy: Mercury & Venus
http://realastronomy.blogspot.com/2010/04/mercury-venus.html
Whilst there seems to be a lot of internet and armchair astronomy out there - my main interest is in real observational astronomy. I like to keep things simple. Thursday, 8 April 2010.
