A Novel Idea: June 2015
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Never Too Old to Learn a New Trick. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.". It's an old saying that I'm sure everybody has heard at least once in their life. It is often used to refer to older humans as well. Some habits can't be changed or broke, because it's so ingrained by then. I apparently can't drink any soda anymore without it going straight through me in a very painful way. In my case, as I'm all too quickly my 39th birthday, I am learning how to swim. I'm not really su...

A Novel Idea: December 2014
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. It's THAT Time of Year Again. Yes, yes it is. You all know what I'm talking about. Time to change the calendars and psych ourselves up for remembering to write 2015 instead of 2014. Time to rethink life habits and either set goals or resolutions for the upcoming year. Many of these are the same year after year, not necessarily because we've failed but because we want to do better. I don't really know if I'd say it was either way. I know that it's ending happier than it beg...

A Novel Idea: Changes To Be Made
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2015/08/changes-to-be-made.html
Sunday, August 9, 2015. Changes To Be Made. A peaceful spot to get away from the stress. As I discussed in my post at Broads of a Feather. I am going to be making changes to my online presence. I haven't made up my mind entirely as to what these changes are going to be, but they will be made. Which isn't a bad thing. I know all things will end up working out somehow. I just wish it would even out already! We could both use a break from "life"! Updates from the Author. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A Novel Idea: Upcoming Surgeries and Nerves
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2015/04/upcoming-surgeries-and-nerves.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. Upcoming Surgeries and Nerves. One of my favorite spring flowers. Spring is in the air, even though the present temperature is cool at 51 degrees Fahrenheit and there have been snow flurries in the air the past few days here in Northeast PA. I finally got the approval for my own surgery from my foot doctor. The earliest opening he had at the time was . the day after hubby's surgery! I will share links and more details as she shared them. It was a good day all the way around!

A Novel Idea: September 2014
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 12, 2014. I've been in such a funk recently. Not even sure how to describe it really. Some of it surely is my health, my foot not healing properly and my sugar being out of whack. One thing that has resulted from this has been my reading jag.I can't read enough! I am so glad I read them. At the moment, it's FREE on Kindle! The first one was Twenty-Eight and a Half Wishes. It's the first in the Rose Gardner Mystery series and I love Rose! I won't go into a lot of details. Some of the...

A Novel Idea: February 2015
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 9, 2015. One of my goals at the beginning of the year was to tighten up my blogging. To get a posting schedule written down with topic ideas. About that.haven't gotten that far yet. Obviously. So far, when it comes to social media, the one goal I've managed to keep has been posting to Twitter more frequently! It might not be the best medium to sell books, but it's fun! And the thing is, it's not all bad stuff. Seriously, how cool is this? I'm sure Ms. Lee had her reasons for not publ...

A Novel Idea: January 2015
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 23, 2015. Short Note About Grief. Like I posted on Broads of a Feather. Earlier today, today is a hard day. I had wanted to get a post on here this week as well, I have so many ideas of things to write. But my heart isn't in it today. It is heavy and sad. Please, take a moment out of your day to let your loved ones know that you love and appreciate them. You never know when it'll be too late. Life really is over in the blink of an eye. Take time to appreciate each moment. Anyway, I marked...

A Novel Idea: November 2014
http://robinjanney.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 7, 2014. Mother's Day In November. First off, I have to say that I absolutely loved Carol's latest post at Broads of a Feather. And not just because she referenced two of my favorite things: Zombies and House MD! Her post tied into my feelings this week about appreciating our parents because we never now how long we're going to have them around. Glenn and Rosemary Slater. And really, she could have. He died when I was 18, almost 19. From complications of a second stroke. So, take a momen...
