Afterthoughts on the semester that almost killed me. Friday, November 7, 2008. It makes me so sad how the LDS church is being ostracized for its backing of Proposition 8. Is it any surprise that they were such ardent supporters of something that has been taught since the beginning of time? It is an issue that they have not wavered. Not once. Afterthoughts on the semester that almost killed me. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Way to go to the new president. After the announcement that the stimulus passed, the market dropped 380 points! This thing is never going to work. Just like when President Bush pushed one through. Can you believe that during the press conference last night he said that the only thing that would save us from the economy was the government? Why doesn't anyone believe in the people anymore? They won't pull all the 'O' keys off the computers and leave the executive building looking like it housed a fraternity four eight years.
