Amy Broughton BSU ENG 103. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Thursday, September 24, 2009. My favorite haiku talks about being arrested yet remaining strong. It goes:. Being arrested –. At home peony bud still firm. I think it directly connects with the pictures by depicting the loss of freedoms and feeling of betrayal yet their spirit is not broken. The fact their spirit wasn’t broken by the betrayal of their fellow Americans makes it my favorite. Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
