V Knits
http://belleangeknits.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
If I could read and knit at the same time, I could take over the world. Saturday, July 21, 2007. Please enjoy this slightly stiff photo of my foot inside what actually turned out to be a sock. Can we say, hellooo, awesome vertical stripes? Shocking, indeed. With a foot not in it it doesn't seem quite sock-shaped, but I'm sure a washing and a blocking will take care of that. I love my cheap ol' wire coat hanger sock blockers. Still to come: Argosy! Posted by V @ 9:10 PM. Links to this post. Which I have f...

Madisonienne: Babies
http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/05/babies.html
Thursday, May 31, 2007. My 5 year old "baby" just lost her second tooth. She starts summer school tomorrow and can't wait to show all of her friends her baby tooth. I don't think any of them have so much as a wiggle in their mouths, so H-bomb's feeling pretty grown-up right now. I'm finally scheduled for more than 5 hours this coming month, which should keep me busy and my mind off my tummy (at least until I deal with patients). Plus, I got a raise, so the paychecks will be even nicer than before....

LimulusKnits: The Boy Hat
http://limulusknits.blogspot.com/2007/11/boy-hat.html
Limulus is one of the last genera of horseshoe crabs in the world, and the one that dominates my native Long Island Sound. Being as wonderfully successful as it is, I think they deserve some love. This blog is mostly knitting, but also lots of nerding. Monday, November 26, 2007. The boy has granted permission for me to post this pattern, so I figured that I would, since I know that simple as they may be, hats that boys will actually wear are few and far between. The Boy Hat Pattern. I have a bit of a cri...

This blog is mostly knitting, but also lots of nerding. Thursday, July 03, 2008. Madness, you say! Well, enough with the work stuff. I have been realizing lately that while I never thought of it this way before, I have a knitter "type". I used to only be a yarn snob (i.e., only with natural fibe...Terms I love ...

Madisonienne: August 2006
http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Icarus Progress. With Photos! Ok So blogger doesn't want to put my photos where I want them. Anyway. I started classes on Monday. Bright and early at 7:30 in the morning. I'm not really what people call a "morning person". I like to sleep. I like my bed. I like my eyes to be closed during the dark morning. I'm sure that I'll adjust in a few weeks, but until then, I'll be dragging. Right now, I'm taking a break from my urinalysis studying (oh, yeah) to get these photos up.

Madisonienne: Forget me?
http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/08/forget-me.html
Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Oh, I hope not! I've been busy, with a very important project! H-bomb is going to be starting kindergarten in 3 weeks, while I return to school in 2 weeks. I'll have one whole week with both of the girls together, and I'm fairly certain all of my hair will fall out and I will develop an enormous amount of new wrinkles. That's about all we've been up to at Chez Madisonienne. Ooh, and watching far too much E! What a beauty she is! I'm so glad you're all doing well.

Madisonienne: It's A Girl!
http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/02/its-girl.html
Friday, February 16, 2007. We had a 19 week ultrasound yesterday. The doctor was able to see girl parts on the scan. Everything still looked normal, so we won't have any more for the rest of the pregnancy. We're excited to start thinking about names, and it should be easier since we'll only have to choose from one gender. I was checking to make sure my web ring links were working right after updating my template. I's so wonderful to see ultrasound pics. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
