First introduced to the public in 1958, the Flying V joined the electric guitar family and continues to be widely popular and highly recognizable to this day. You don’t have to be a guitar enthusiast to be able to recognize the unique body shape of the Gibson Flying V. The dead giveaway is the upside-down V-shape of the guitar’s body.This guitar was created from 1958 to 1959 however, it was cut short because of low sales volume.
