Me, In An Atypical Way. Guide to Lampworking Glass. Newer posts →. April 10, 2010 · 10:06 AM. Well, it has been a long time since I made a blog post. I did make a few more baby seal beads, but they aren’t quite. As cute as the one I posted. I will try making more at some point – it will have to be soon because I promised one to the Southern Flames silent auction. But other beads have been occupying my time recently. I had a very wonderful class with Caitlin Hyde. January 28, 2010 · 10:48 AM. On Monday, f...

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. If you don't have anything nice to say. However I think mom's point was to not be mean. To try to be positive, to not dwell on bad things, and to not maliciously hurt someones feelings. Hence the reason I have not posted in two weeks. I couldn't have beat that with a stick! But seriously, I was starting to have trouble swallowing, and you all know me when I get hungry. So in to surgery, and "Off with her head! Did you get it tested? Hide my pills for a week. Or don't send the...

Change Over Time: Goldenrod Shadows Drawing
http://jenniferbeaven.blogspot.com/2012/01/goldenrod-shadows.html
This is a recent drawing on paper based on autumn shadows that I drew and stitched on cotton fabric. I'm interested in the stitch as a mark and how drawn marks can have the quality of stitches. The Miss Worcester Diner. This summer I had a classic diner breakfast in Worcester, Massachusetts. Sitting in a diner is like playing in a tent made from a sheet over a card table when you were a kid. It's a whole world, a steamy tin can, a not-quite-real building where someone might bring you hot chocolate if you ask nicely. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Miss Worcester Diner. Crow at White River Junction. This piece is based on a photo I took in White River Junction, Vermont. The crows in the parking lot were curious but wary of me and my camera. Since crows like to collect things, I've surrounded her some goodies for her stash. I've been wanting to sew bottlecaps onto fabric for a while and finally worked out a process for making that work. The crow is bordered by silver beads. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Crow at White River Junction. Jennifer Beaven: Collage and Art Quilts.

A journey through the right side of my brain. Friday, February 17, 2012. Remember those beads from my last post? Well here they are in all there finished glory. This turned out to be such a fun, light-hearted spring bracelet. It is going to someone who is living in a climate a little less sunny then the one I'm currently in. I wanted to send some spring in at least one form. Monday, February 13, 2012. The best intentions.put off again. I guess I'm right were I should be in my life :). Since I've been in ...

LilianaBead: February 2014
http://lilianabead.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 5, 2014. How long did it take you to make this? How long did it take you to make this bead? And, yet, here I am, planning ahead for resources including glass rods and tools on my station, plenty of propane in the tank and a well-running source of oxygen, and time. How long will this take me? Do I have the time right now to dedicate myself to this experiment? The only way I can answer this question is in units of love - I feel love to infinity when I'm behind the torch and melting glass.
