The Kremer prizes are a series of challenges run by the British Royal Aeronautical Society for pedal-powered aircraft:. 50,000 for flying a figure-8 around pylons ½ mile apart. 50,000 for flying across the English channel. 100,000 for circling 500m per side triangle in under 3 minutes. Multiple incremental winners. Highest speed reached: 30mph. 50,000 for traveling 26 miles in less than 1 hour. Make two flights around a triangular course of 500m per side. Both flights must total less than 7 minutes.
