Sunday, September 28, 2014. It was raining all day yesterday, and we were stuck inside, and I was lamenting the end of summer. Franz and I were wondering how we survived the winter with kids in years past. Anyway, I guess that means it is time for me to recap summer. We had an epic 40th party for Franz in June, a Teton adventure in July, and Lake Powell and Boston trips in August. We did spend some time doing fun stuff at home - here is a recap:. This remodel happened a few weeks ago, but I was waiting to post until I got framed pictures up on the walls, but now pictures are up and the room is never quite neat enough for me to take pictures, so I decided to finally post. Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Picnickin', travelin', and field trippin'. A random bunch of pictures from the past few weeks. We love picnics - it is a must every Tuesday, and we are back out most nights after dinner to enjoy the awesome Utah summer nights. We went to central Cali for a wedding. We loved spending time with our friends Tim and Angela (who we travelled with in Chicago sans kids exactly 1 year prior). We went to Carmel (and saw Spencer), and enjoyed Nacho's wedding in Soledad. We spent time with family, saw the metropolitan Guadalajara, small town Santa Cruz, historical Guanajuato, and resort-y Pureto Vallarta. Quite a multi-faceted trip!
