It's a Fuller Life

Saturday, May 2, 2009. When you own a house there's something in the air that makes you want to go out and spend money on flowers! We have been trying to figure out what we could do to add a little color to the front of the house without completely redoing the landscaping. We found a great flower nursery on county road 49 in the back woods of Alabama, and bought some flowers for the front and back of the house. It's an on going project, but we like how it is all coming together! This years Hibiscus plant!

The Carpenters: September 2009

http://joycarpenter.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Thursday, September 17, 2009. In the meantime, I'll just continue to share what's happening while we wait. So this week my friend shared Psalm 40 with me. It's so good! There are lots of truths about God in it, like how He hears our cries, rescues us, and puts a new song in our hearts. But I think what spoke to my heart the most this week is verse 8. I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.". His instructions are written on my heart! I'm glad to be back!

I hope to share more very soon, but until then, I wanted to share this video. Daniel Phillips, our photographer and videographer, did an amazing job at capturing our week in pictures. The Carpenters: Dead End

http://joycarpenter.blogspot.com/2010/11/dead-end.html

Sunday, November 7, 2010. Does God ever lead us to a dead end? In our perspective, yes. but in His perspective, no! We studied Moses this morning in Sunday school and how God used him to save the Israelites form Pharaoh and the Egyptians. (Read Exodus 14. For the complete story. It's really good! In verse 2, God tells Moses exactly where to set up camp. by the Red Sea. So why if you're trying to get away from someone would God put you right at a dead end? Can get the glory when you are saved! This WordPress.com site is all about gluten free cooking and more. A bit about me. Giving it a go. April 10, 2016. Whilst I sit on my proverbial laurels watching the world go by, I’ve been keeping up to date with all the blogs I follow in my reader. One special blog I follow is called tassybakes.com and this lovely recipe was posted about six days ago. It’s a gluten free chocolate and almond cake and is one I’ve wanted to make and eat for a long, long time! 175 ml boiling water. 225 gm ground almonds.
