Some Things that Happened. I am listening to Shakira. A police officer just walked by with a machine gun. A man just rode by on a bike cart filled with gallons of water. Well, we're its halloween and we're wearing orange t-shirts. As for Halloween here, it is celebrated with about the same enthusiasm as St. Patricks Day or Cinco de Mayo is in the US- a select group goes to bars as an excuse to celebrate, but I think the festivities are pretty limited. Thanks to all of you again for caring about me!

It feels good to be able to send in my vote.we found write-in ballots in the PC office in Sucre and filled it out and sent it in DHL with some other volunteers. The rumor is that if it arrives (which it will) before election day, then it gets counted just like a regular vote, meaning not absentee, which means "it's actually counted" which makes me feel good.
