Friday, May 2, 2008. I took Melissa's mom and dad and my mom to the history center to see the Minnesota at 150 Exhibit and the Enemy Within. Both are excellent and I even got in free! When I asked if there was a teacher discount, the woman replied no, and pathetically I said, "not even for history day teachers? To which she replied, "There should be, go ahead and go in! It was only an overnight but the adventures kept coming: Alpine Slide, hike up Cascade River in a thunderstorm, watching the thunderstorm rage over the lake from INSIDE the cabin, some fierce PIT games, the New Years Jump (and this time even Ben joined us for his first…!
