https://liveslessordinary.wordpress.com/2008/06/09/we-do-not-need-magic
We Do Not Need Magic. I’ve just finished watching JK Rowling’s address. To this year’s graduates from Harvard, and I strongly recommend that you watch it too. It was funny, powerful, moving and inspirational – everything you could want and more from a commencement address. One of the key phrases for me was. We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better. Isn’t that just incredibly empowering? I believe that’s th...

https://liveslessordinary.wordpress.com/2008/01/11/i-am-so-blessed

These photos were taken in locations less than an hour’s drive from my house. But I think this might be my absolutely favourite. What makes you feel blessed about living in your area? January 11, 2008. Environment. Truly…a Beautiful place. The diversity and the ability to see beauty in all things around me! Swans are such beautiful,...

An Island Exploration | Lives Less Ordinary
https://liveslessordinary.wordpress.com/2008/06/01/an-island-exploration
When the greenery was provided by coniferous trees only, bare branches jutted into view, and the low lying sun sank all too soon on that cold, frosty day. Loch Lomond, however, is actually renowned for its oak forests, and I wanted to see them in all their glory, not stripped of all leaves, naked and dormant. After scanning our maps, we eventually spotted an island that seemed to have a boat link and chose that as our destination. It’s called Inchcailloch. And began our trek. June 1, 2008. Environment.

The Fire of Images: An Announcement | Lives Less Ordinary
https://liveslessordinary.wordpress.com/2008/05/23/the-fire-of-images-an-announcement
The Fire of Images: An Announcement. This is the 5th post of 5 in a series on photography. Why I Started To Take Photos. Why I Continue To Take Photos. Why I Think You Should Take Photos. Over the last week, we’ve covered quite a lot of ground, but there’s one last thing that I want to write about by way of conclusion to this series: Flickr. In this series, in which I used many of my Flickr pictures, using the tags to search within my own photostream reduced the amount of time I had to spend trawling thr...

http://westofmars.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
West of Mars - the Meet and Greet. The online home of the indomitable Trevor Wolff. Hang out awhile and get as hooked as the rest of us. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Thursday Thirteen #18 - Introducing Pam Derbish. I said a few weeks ago that I'd be introducing a new character to these parts. But then we all know what happened here with Thursday Thirteen and, to be honest, Wednesday and Thursday of last week just sucked for me. NOT a time to bring someone new into the fold. 8 She's not a huge drinker.
