Critical praise Kind Words. Schrader Cellars began with 200 cases of wine from one section of the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. After over 10 years of wine production, the Schrader wines have received 13 ‘perfect’ 100-point scores over that course of time. Boars' View Chardonnay. There is slightly more, about four barrels or 85-100 cases, of the 2013 Chardonnay, which received similar treatment to the 2012. This wine shows notes of poached pear and white peach, has a light-gold color, a nice buttery mouthfeel and well-integrated oak. It reminds me of a Bâtard-Montrachet from France, in its extroverted, exuberant style. Mdash; Robert Parker, Wine Advocate. True Sonoma Coast, near Cazadero appellation. Development Mystical Sonoma Coast Estate. We knew immediately that this rustic site would be the perfect spot for our vision of Boars’ View, yet taming the wild terrain would not be an easy task. Planting a vineyard is difficult even when construction and vineyard equipment supplies are easily accessible. The extremely remote location of Boars’ View and lack of established access roads made this process seemingly impossible. Post Office Box 1014. Tel 707 942 1540.
