Life for me started in Sydney, born to loving parents and a loving brother two years my senior. I was a fairly insecure child who never felt as though I was enough. When I was sixteen I went into a blackness, a time of inner torment, which I later learned was depression. It was around then that I discovered illicit substances. After many attempts to stop my addiction, I found myself in a complete state of surrender. I could fight against myself no longer. I.

What is Gestalt Therapy? Atever is outside of our awareness runs us. The patterns of behavior, which were necessary for survival and adjustment as children, are often no longer necessary and in fact, can be incredibly limiting. We usually operate in our lives through a succession of fixed patterns, which are out of awareness, and subsequently keep bringing us the same unwanted results and disappointments.
