Chester County Amateur Golf Tournament - Home

The Chester County Amateur Golf Championship was started at Coatesville Country Club by member Ernie Peters in 1993. Robert Ransom was the winner of the 1st Championship and was presented with the Prudential Trophy donated by Penn Mutual. Company Sponsors were also asked to participate. Company Sponsorships, not only allowed the tournament to crown a champion, but also helped raise money for Chester County based Charities. From 2000 to 2004, the tournament has raised $4000 for local charities.
