Because of a planned taxi strike in San Juan between 9am and 1pm in response to the Uber situation, we decided to leave much earlier than originally planned, so that we could take an early taxi and avoid the possibility of missing our flight. In front of my sister, I set my phone alarm, and told my uncle I'd set my alarm for 6am. In the dark the next morning, I awoke to my sister's hand rubbing my arm.
