Friday, January 30, 2015. Noah's Little House Party. Last week the 2 second grade classes had their Little House in the Big Woods party. Just like when Anna had her party. Noah was excited to wear clothes to match the characters in the book. I thought he looked precious in this hat, but he took it off right after my pictures and didn't put it back on for the rest of the school day! Ahhh, they're so cute! There were plenty of games too. Five has always hit me rather hard as a mom, but I have to admit that this one is a little easier because he isn't going to Kindergarten in September like the other two did. Thursday, April 30, 2015. When we arrived they let each girl take a photo with a horse and then they made those into key chains for them before we left. It was a little rainy so they did the pictures inside. I stayed behind the fence so I wouldn't look like crazy mom. After photos they broke the big group into four smaller groups and we rotated stations. First was colors and markings, where they walked through all of the stables and learned the names of each feature. Only brush above the knees! After all...

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Waiting to run down the stairs. Being Kate's first Christmas with us, she had no idea what we were doing, but as usual she was happy to do whatever her siblings were doing. Ben sleeps in that hat all the time, and I think it's super cute. I have no idea what I was thinking buying that for her, but it was one of the very few items she asked for by name. Just like last year. Each kid one of the Puffin Classics. And since there are 4 kids this year, I was able to complete.

Thursday, May 28, 2015. Ben's Last Day of Preschool. Sigh Ben is finished with preschool. I think it went extra fast for both of us since he only went this one year, and it's hard to believe that he's not going back in the Fall. The last day of school was also the art show, so he went to his class for 2 hours that morning, and then we all came to see his art in the gym. Ben and Hannah, who lives right across the street. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. For the last few years our city has given kids a Culture Pass which gives them free admission to lots of fun places. Some of the locations are available any time, but some have certain days of the week that they'll accept the pass. For the science center it was Sundays, and it seemed like most of the city chose the same day that we did. Giant mom and dad in the reflection. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Last weekend there was a farm festival just outside of our city. I saw the ad in a local magazine last month and tore it out so we would remember to go. Amazingly, it was one of the few days this month that wasn't rainy, so we packed up and headed over. The kids immediately thought it was cool because we got to ride a shuttle bus to the actual festival. Anna looks unimpressed, but the animals were her favorite part. Well, the animals and the food trucks. No line for the pony rides!

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Baby Ben is here! He was born one week ago today on July 20 at 2:39 pm He weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. He is perfectly healthy, adorable, and the answer to many, many prayers. We are overjoyed to finally have him here with us! The new family of five. Five!
