During the one week school holidays, I brought the family to the zoo. Here are the pictures. We ended our trip at the children's playground but Ian was in his "funny" mood again. He wasn't keen to play. Just walking around looking at his Kor kor playing. I secretly captured him on video. Watch what happen after he caught me filming him. Posted by Ronald @ 9:30 PM. Links to this post. This routine started about 2 months ago. Trust me. It is a very energetic event. The water is COLD! Links to this post.

Cycling in the pool. The boys went cycling this evening around the estate and guess what? Ian cycled into the swimming pool. Yes, the entire bicycle and him went into the condominium baby pool. He was shocked and was crying all the way home. My domestic help was with them and I heard the security guard helped to retrieve the bicycle. All through the night, we teased Ian. Ian, you should wear swimming trunks when you go cycling the next time ok? Posted by Ronald @ 10:51 PM. Links to this post. Now I have ...

Ian is 4 years old today. How time flies, you are 4 years old already. Ian has been receiving birthday presents since last week from different uncles and aunties (relatives and church). He made this comment to his mommy at home. Ian: How come so many people like to buy me presents huh? I felt good knowing that I had bought him something extraordinary from his other presents. Next morning (less than 24 hours later), Zoop died. Since then, they have been monitoring if more will die soon. For the record, Ia...

Mommy: No, you have lots of sweets from Children's day party already. Ryan: They are not nice! Ryan: I buy 3 only, please? There are only 2 of you. Ryan: 1 for me, 1 for Ian and 1 for my friend. You are so generous with daddy's money? Ryan: I use my own money. Can? Ryan: Daddy, can I buy this? Links to this post.

Ryan & Ian: February 2006

My mother stays with me from Wed to Sat every week. When Ian comes home from school, he will usually call out "Nai Nai" (grandma in mandarin) cheerfully even before he enters the house. Very often, my mum will "reward" him with a sweet. Last week, Ian did not behave the same. He came home from school but did not address my mum at all. When my mum asked him for the reasons, he said (showing his palm) "I got sweets already.". Very bad classical conditioning for a child. Posted by Ronald @ 4:39 AM. Ryan is ...

Ryan & Ian: November 2006
http://ronaldpang.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Shanghai/HK holiday 25 Nov - Day 10. Today is the last day of our holiday. Our flight home is at night. We checked out at about noon to do some last minute shopping. We stayed far from the city and hence can only visit Yuen Long. While mommy shopped and grandma chaperoned, the boys and daddy had coffee, cakes, visited bookshops and finally sat along the walkway. And Ryan started to feel unwell again. At the airport, the boys took some pictures in front of their favourite car again. Links to this post.

Last night, while I was watching TV, I saw Ryan coming out of the room almost in tears. He sat on the sofa brooding and it was obvious that he was very angry over something. I asked him several times but he kept quiet. 1 hour later, he was still mad. So I hugged him in bed and talked to him. Me: Tell me. If you do not tell me, I won't know. Ryan: (kept quiet and hid his face under the pillow). Ian has joined us in bed watching us). Me: Are you angry with daddy? Me: Are you angry with mommy? We have bough...
