Observations from Afar: Call me Uncle Aaron!

http://aaronmhernandez.blogspot.com/2006/08/call-me-uncle-aaron.html

Tuesday, August 22. Call me Uncle Aaron! Huge congratulations go out to Bevin and Corey on the birth this afternoon of Cooper Thomaston! He was born around 1pm and weighed in at about 6.5 lbs. The first descriptions I received pointed out his blonde hair, fair skin (what, no summer tan? And cute, pouty lips. Everyone is doing great and should be able to go home by Friday. Congratulations! Observations from Afar: Who Cares?

http://aaronmhernandez.blogspot.com/2006/08/who-cares.html

Tuesday, August 8. Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.". His disciples answered, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd? How many loaves do you have? Seven," they replied, "and a few small fish.". I am a big fan of HGTV's Dream Home Giveaway. In case you aren't familiar with this show.

Observations from Afar: June 2006

http://aaronmhernandez.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 29. Recently, however, I have become quite accustomed to waiting. I am even learning, quite reluctantly, the beauty of patience and resting in God. I recently lost my job (I don't think the world is quite ready for that blog yet! Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD;. O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive. To my cry for mercy. If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins,. O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness;. Therefore you are feared. From all their sins.

Observations from Afar: The End of the Road

http://aaronmhernandez.blogspot.com/2006/08/end-of-road.html

Thursday, August 10. The End of the Road. Well, I have reached the end of the road. Tomorrow (Friday) I will have the final interview, and, God willing, should leave with a job offer. So, I ask that you please pray that all will go well - for my sake and for Britton's! The good thing is that I will again be back in the Promised Land, if just for a day. I can't wait to breathe some of that fresh Chicago smog. Giordano's. Posted by Aaron Hernandez at 8/10/2006. Good luck tomorrow Aaron! At 10:28 PM EDT.

Observations from Afar: July 2006

http://aaronmhernandez.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 31. I am not a big fan of cycling, but I have to admit that living in Louisville has made me take note of the sport more. This is primarily the case due to the astronomical amount of bicyclers in this city. They are everywhere! Posted by Aaron Hernandez at 7/31/2006. Links to this post. I've changed my settings so that all users can leave comments, instead of just registered users. Just a little FYI. Posted by Aaron Hernandez at 7/31/2006. Links to this post. Sunday, July 30. Observations from Afar: The Saga Continues

http://aaronmhernandez.blogspot.com/2006/08/saga-continues.html

Monday, August 14. My interview Friday went well and it looks as though everything is set for a job offer. Unfortunately, the Regional Manager had to discuss everything with the District Manager, which is supposed to take place today. So, hopefully, I should have a job offer by this afternoon! But, with these people, even that could take a few days! Thanks for all the prayers and support. Posted by Aaron Hernandez at 8/14/2006. Hope to talk to you soon! At 9:16 AM EDT. Have you had that baby yet?

Thursday, October 26. I'm back.Sort of! Well, I've been away for quite some time now, but I hope to rekindle the blogging fires now. Let's see.where was I. So, I have been at the new job for almost two months now, and everything is going great. It is definitely alot of new stuff to learn and try to understand! I think I've put close to 4000 miles on the company car (aka "Al") since mid-September! Anyway, it's good to be back.I still have plenty of insights (I use that word lightly) and rants to share!

Christian Brainstorming

Most Recent Entries] [Calendar View]. Below are the 20. Most recent journal entries recorded in Christian Brainstorming. Sunday, December 15th, 2013. My book featured God creating extraterrestrials and dinosaurs, and a heliocentric universe. I hit a wall. Apparently, the church synod does not believe in dinosaurs. The pastor asked me to remove one of the few items that make my book different. He said the LCMS synod is young earth creationist. If you want to be accepted by the synod, you do have to check ...
