Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Sam and I have been making more progress on getting some quality time. This past weekend, we got our snuggles in on Saturday before I took a field trip with big brother. Sunday, January 4, 2015. I asked Sam, what was 1 thing he wanted to do over Christmas Vacation? He told me, go to Orange Leaf. So Sam and I went. And I told Sam he could sit anywhere, and choose whatever he wanted, just not to go overboard. And he chose chocolate and pineapple, and topped it with weird things that don't have red 40. And then when I went to sit next to him, he asked me to go sit over there, he wanted his own Big Kids Table. Really? And I won't be sad about it. Can't Take the Sky From Me.

Jake decided that the spare carseat for my niece in the front hall was his toy to play with, as well as the baby mat. He's taken posession, and decided to put them together. Silly sweetboy. Saturday, November 22, 2014. Play that Funky music white boy. Monday, November 17, 2014. Friday night, we took the boys to Christopher and Sam's school Game Night. Sunday, February 22, 2015. We got a couple of inches of snow on Saturday morning. Jacob couldn't resist watching out the window. He kept talking to the snow, saying stuff like Oh Wow, and Oh Yeah! Initially, no one wanted to go out and play in it. But once the big boys got out there, Jacob grabbed a shoe that wasn't his and went for the door to join them. It was a rainboot. Not really gonna work boo - so I got him all dolled up and ready for Snow! Mr Big Stuff could move the snow too. For a moment. :).

Sunday, August 31, 2014. My Baby is American Made. Just like the song says. He still fits this onesie that his Aunt Lisa got him from Ft. Bliss. But not for much longer. Saturday, August 30, 2014. I think Jake might have reflux. Twice this week he threw up he was coughing so hard. But he doesn't cough any other time during the day, just then. Monday, August 25, 2014. Since the funeral in NY, the boy does stairs! Now that he's home, he wants to go down them all the time. What baby wants pizza and wings?

Monday, September 15, 2014. I keep lifting my shirt whenever he fusses at me. It's become instinctual. If he's fussy, he must be hungry. But I'm learning, or rather, he's teaching me, that is not the case. He has other ideas. And he yells at me and fusses to make his point. But this weekend he was teaching us that what he really wants is for me to read a book to him. Waa Waa means Quack Quack. And Noisy Farm has been his favorite book. Until today, when he discovered the That's Not My series of books.
