The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara: March 2009

http://koreanchronicleofkipandtara.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Thursday, March 5, 2009. So I just had to comment on how amazing my birthday was, and to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it so! To top it off I got to talk to my grandparents and open their presents on Skype. Then Kip made me a delicious salmon. Oh, and some of the cutest students ever brought me goodies such as a necklace, some star candies, and some electric blue nail-poish-ooh yeah! I love you all sooo very much! The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Thursday, May 21, 2009. The visit from the fam. Well as you can guess from the header we had a visit from the family. My mom and brother made the long journey to see us! They were stayed with us for a week and a half. We had a whole lot of fun while they were here. The first Friday night We took them for seafood and Galbi/Somgyupsal. Then we had some bumper car action. On Sunday Mrs. An took us to the Bamboo Forest and three amazing temples. It was great to see them!

http://koreanchronicleofkipandtara.blogspot.com/2009/04/april-update.html

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Monday, April 6, 2009. So since we have been slacking on the blog lately I thought it was about time for a quick update. Spring is finally here and the sunshine is a welcome change! Our time this spring has been well spent and busy! It was a wonderful weekend and a welcome change from the many lazy gray weekends that preceded it. So the sun is out, decisions have been made, and we will get to see you all soon. Things are looking up for this crazy couple!

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara: September 2008

http://koreanchronicleofkipandtara.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Sunday, September 28, 2008. So we have two new roommates as of today- Benjamin (My Guy) and Reginald (Kip's guy). On a side note, we have to pass by the Hyundai Billding to get to the market where we got our little guys. I figured that deserved a mention in the blog :-) We also threw in two goofy pics from our hike to Kings Island last week, good times. Sunday, September 7, 2008. Yes, they bounce here too! Much much more to come. Wednesday, September 3, 2008.

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara: January 2009

http://koreanchronicleofkipandtara.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Sunday, January 11, 2009. One Night in Bangkok. We ran for our lives from the Thai mob. OK so this is a slight exaggeration; but there still was an altercation involving $10 beers, some aggressive Thai prostitutes and some very irate Thai's that made us want to vacate that bar quite quickly. In the time we had before we were to meet Simon, we head to the street markets. Cramped sidewalks with people walking way too close. So far we don't like Bangkok. Our trip to Cam...

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I just had to share one student's amusing depiction of us. I found this on the back of his speech paper- mind you his speech was about wanting to be a doctor when he grows up- completely unrelated! How about those lips! The rest of the Thailand trip. Yes yes I know it has been a long time since we've updated the blog or even finished our last trip entries. One of the most twisty roads I've been on. The second ...

http://koreanchronicleofkipandtara.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Monday, August 18, 2008. First of all, our hotel was a thousand times better than the craphole we stayed in in Busan- so we thanked our lucky stars immediately for that! The wonderful Ana Hakata even had a bidet! Man, my tush has never been so clean! We also had courtesy pajamas left for us every night- and while they were hideously ugly, we just had to wear them ('cuz its not every day you get fresh clean pjs laid on your bed for you! So Well we haven't yet done a b...

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara: The "Family" Dinners

http://koreanchronicleofkipandtara.blogspot.com/2009/06/family-dinners.html

The Korean Chronicle of Kip and Tara. Thursday, June 25, 2009. Hey everyone out there in "I like to read about what Tara and Kip are doing now" land! Welcome to the end. The end of the first year that is! But, before we go we felt it a grave injustice if we didn't mention our "family" dinners. Almost every Sunday a group of teachers and HHI ship-yard supervisors get together for dinner. Can you guess which is Scott). If you read the last blog you know there were two jobs open to us. Never to make thi...

New York, NY, USA. Kim Gordon, 1977. Happy birthday, Frank :). Ldquo; It’s been great to see lots of people around the web noting that today is the birthday of Frank O’Hara, who was born on March 27, 1926. But there’s a strange story about this which complicates things a bit: today is not the day O’Hara thought was his birthday. As Brad Gooch details his biography of O’Hara,. I hardly ever think of June 27, 1926,. When I came moaning into my mother’s world. And tried to make it mine immediately. So there ...
