From Poetry to Poo. Tuesday, 3 July 2012. Over the years, whenever I've felt sad, confused, or out of control, I've focused on everyday pleasures. It's my secret happiness recipe. Recently, clearing through my diaries and notebooks, I found endless, repetitive lists:. Nothing miraculous but it always seems to work. Slowing me down, grounding me, reminding me what matters. From Poetry to Poo. Monday, 23 April 2012. Cooking with Kids (Easy-Peasy, Best-Ever Brownies). 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 cup ground almonds. 1/2 tsp baking powder. Hardly the healthiest snack to make with your kids, but definitely one of the easiest and tastiest- Jem can now measure, mix and eat these brownies. From Poetry to Poo. Thursday, 28 June 2012. I remember her maisonnette; orange and brown swirls on the carpet and a small, blue bureau, smelling of humbugs-too warm and sticky in their wrappers. Fish steaming in the kitchen for the cat; the ever immobile cat, stretched black and white across the table, hogging the heat from the radiator.
