Sunday, September 2, 2012. We were very happy when we were told that we'd be swapping with the cottage next door. We will get to move into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 living area apartment on one side of the cottage. We will then have 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 living area, kitchen and dining room on the communal side of the house for us and the boys to share. Monday, November 19, 2012. Carolina and I were invited to a tea party with our good friends Jessica and Lydia today. Jessica and I had been tossing the idea around for a while and she graciously offered to host. I'm so glad she did because she did such a good job. It was beautiful! Both girls ate their fruit the fastest and lingered a little on their sandwiches. Their conversation was so cute, "Lydia, do you like the pink dip with your strawberries? Monday, July 18, 2011. Clay and I work on "schoolwork" each night after Carolina goes to bed (he's a night owl). I am so proud of the progress he has made and I love watching him work hard each night. I've given him a little grace over the years- I'm totally guilty of wanting him to just enjoy being a little boy and not pushing school until he was ready. Saturday, November 12, 2011. Mike came home tonight and he was telling us a story over dinner about the chase he had been on. Mike's pretty set on work being work and home being home so we don't hear many stories about what he does during the day. I didn't think too much of all the quiet until Mike got up from the table. Clay looks at me and then almost verbatim. I had NO idea that Clay was even listening to the story- much less processing and memorizing it! Mike and I were cracking up! Welcome to my blog.

Sunday, September 4, 2011. Silly things to remember about Bruce. He only likes to pee in the backyard.yeah.weird. He asked to do it one day and now thinks he has to. We have at least established that other "eliminations" have to take place in the potty, no matter what Kaya (the dog) does. Little boys still do that in the potty.Boys are weird. He says "don't a-get" all the time. He's really saying "don't FORget", but it is usually interpreted as "don't get" which makes him very confused.and us.
