在濕冷地 帶，質料以毛織品為佳，羊毛、尼龍混紡的褲子，兼具保暖耐穿的優點 ，棉質長褲則穿著時舒適，但遇濕後會變得又厚又濕，而且散溫很快， 較不恰當，近來有以PIRE材質製成之衣褲，保暖效果佳。 優點 分格設計，容易打包，背部得以通風，缺點 突出物過多，在叢林 中容易勾到，且由於重心集中在下方，因此在通過崖壁時較為危險。
