Blog for the North East climbing rabble! Tuesday, 9 March 2010. The Lakes - 27th and 28th February. Opted for a weekend of climbing in the lakes for a change as the conditions were so much better than Scotland. On Saturday Nathan, Steve Lynch. Wilkie and I headed to Dove Crag to climb a route Steve had been wanting to tick for ages. Inaccessible Gully (V, 5) was there but in the warm sunshine it was really running! Steve and Wilkie set off first with Nathan and I following behind, dodging the lumps of ice.

Decided to head down to the cove for a steady tooling session by myself even though it was really windy and pretty damn cold! Sunday, 3 February 2013. Beinn Eighe 20th Jan. It's almost a year since my last post and a few weeks since the climb this! A snowboarding fall last March left me with tendon and rota cuff injuries. After months of physio, I then broke some ribs whilst competing in an Italian Enduro - so it was goodbye to the 2012 rock season. Monday, 6 June 2011. Me and John Glendinning headed for the sunniest part of the UK last Saturday. Llanberis being the place to be! We had a great afternoon climbing on the sun drenched walls of Dinas Cromlech. Ticking the classics of Cenotapth Corner E1,5c and Left Wall E2,5c and finishing off with a spot of bouldering. Tent up, Bar meal, then too much to drink. Sunday we had a slow start due to rain in the Llanberis Pass. So down with the tent and we headed for Anglesey. Great routes and weekend.
