Is one of the local Accelerant LARPs that was originally set in WWI-era Egypt, before the PCs jumped back in time to 1168, then jumped back again to 30 BC. For this event, the PCs traveled to Herodian Judea, which I thought sounded like a particularly intriguing period of history to explore in LARP, so I decided to NPC. LARPing Thoughts from a LARPer Fair. July 24, 2015. Return to the Fair. Two weekends back, I attended the third summer one day event for. Every summer, the folk of Cottington Woods head to the Balmbearer/Graytower estate to enjoy the Summer Fair, with its games, contests, performances, feast, and of course, because it’s a boffer LARP, no small amount of danger. I had a fantastic time at the first summer fair two years ago, but sadly had to miss it last year because it ran on the same weekend as NELCO.
