I planned to do 5 x 1 mile in 6:00 with a minute rest, but feedback from both my body and my heart rate monitor led me to cut that back to 3 x 1 mile with about 1:40 rest, and a fourth broken mile. This morning I attempted the same workout again, and while I still wasn't completely successful I did show some signs of progress.
