Well, that's a normal-sized baby, right? Oh yeah, but I am only 35 weeks today! I looked at the ultrasound tech and said, "And how much do babies gain in the last weeks of pregnancy? About half a pound? She said, "Yep, we are looking at an over 9 lb. baby! Right now the baby is in the 93rd percentile. I took that as a good sign.

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Most of you know that I'm a student at Duke, but did you know Alex is too? He went to his first day of day care at the Duke's Children Campus on August 17th. I didn't think it would be a big deal, Alex is super adaptable. And for me? I knew it would be a piece of cake. I know that, but for some reason it made me feel even worse.
