A collaborative project with advertising student Sarah Knight. The brief was to create an effective way of promoting a new music festival hosted by Tennents Lager. The festival focuses on being seen as affordable to the working class and students, its key aim being to attract people who have never been to a music festival before due to the high costs. A graduate from the University of Cumbria’s BA(hons) Graphic Design course I am now based in central Scotland and looking for internship opportunities. While studying I earned a membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) for my take on their Flatland brief. I have a strong interest in the psychology behind design and how it affects those around it. This is an area I hope to learn more about during my career, either through professional work or personal exploration.

A publication for the Words by the Water. Working alongside fellow designer Leanne Swift I was asked to produce a publication that would showcase the work of journalist students from the University of Cumbria. The project focused on being sophisticated and youthful in design to accompany the students writing abilities. A mature and respectful feel is prominent throughout the design as the journalists’ articles featured many interviews and reviews of the keynote speakers from the festival.
