Sunday, April 19, 2009. Hockey is very big here and it seems all the kids play. Instead of seeing boys carrying pads for football they carry hockey sticks and huge hockey bags. The atmosphere in the arena was crazy and extremely loud. The Xcel center is the newest arena in the state and has all the amenities one would want. We sat next to one of Dan's coworkers. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Trying to catch up. again. Well, its been since January since I blogged and there are some many things that have happened since. So the plan is to catch up a little bit every day till I'm caught. Sounds great on paper we will see how this materializes. :). Going back to work was harder than I thought. Both of my parents, if they were recessive FTO carriers, could have not passed on any kind of predisposition to me or if they were dominant FTO then I didn't have a chance in heck to begin with. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Because our house was built in the 80's, a lot of it still screams 80's. I never have liked that my cabinets and counter tops are an exact match. But I have lived with it because I couldn't afford to put in new cabinets and counter tops. Do-it-yourself" projects can be a bit scary because usually they turn out not what I was hoping for.
