On Saturday, April 2, 2016 the Bayou City Community Band Festival will bring together community musicians from Houston and surrounding areas to form a single festival band. The group will rehearse together throughout the day. Music and part assignments will be managed by the conductor and the Bayou City Community Band Festival Committee. All of the festival activities will take place at The Centrum in Spring, Texas.

There is a brutal clarity to it - at once vague and startlingly accurate in its intent. Percussionists are people too. Thump us, do we not sound?
