Intimate Association: Keeping it going
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2010/09/keeping-it-going.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. I never write. I'm the worst blogger there ever was. Maybe I need to expand my blogging horizons and start writing about other things? I could write for years about my job, or about cohabitation, or about how much I like to clean, or probably what I did over the weekend- have you ever been to a country concert? September 29, 2010 at 11:04 PM. September 30, 2010 at 7:45 AM. I am still reading.a...

Intimate Association: In a nutshell
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/p/in-nutshell.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. Currently, I'm an undergraduate student studying Human Development and Family Studies, Spanish, and Women's Studies, and prepping to graduate in May 2010. The plan is to get a job, make a few dollars, and function as an adult in this big bad world. I'm working on making the jump out of college and into a different reality where I pay more bills and get less recognition. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Intimate Association: June 2010
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. For the biggest win! I just need to note that few things make me happier in the world than when I realized my partner is on board with feminism (even if he won't call himself one). What kind of a champ offers to pay for half my birth control without my prodding? Things I've been meaning to write about, but haven't gotten around to:. Remember when rape jokes weren't funny? Anyway, maybe all of that...

Intimate Association: Gaining Perspective
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2010/12/gaining-perspective.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. I've recently spent more time with some of my college friends, most of whom have a lot of the same interests as myself. You know, we talk about race and privilege and oppression and "the powers that be". It's amazing and fulfilling and it reminds me why I loved school and why I love my friends. December 7, 2010 at 10:48 PM. Youre not alone, I imagine were all drowning in the ignorantly bliss real ...

Intimate Association: Coming soon
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2010/10/coming-soon.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. I'm working on writing a post about body image, societal ideas about this, and other such ideas as I have been inspired by a few incredible women who have recently shared their frustrations and feelings via facebook. I'll post it. Someday. There are other topics in the queue that will get some attention soon after I'm done mulling and pacing. Come to find out, blogs are stressful.

Intimate Association: March 2010
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. Why immigration is more than politics. I recently returned from an Alternative Spring Break trip that took me to the faraway land of Tucson, Arizona to learn about immigration from a social justice perspective. Our group worked with Humane Borders. Located in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, to get a better look at what life is like across the invisible line we call the U.S.-Mexico border. On another ...

Intimate Association: April 2011
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. Hi blog, I'm back. Last year, I visited a high school in Denver to present to multiple Spanish classes about my trip in Spring '08 to Juarez, Mexico to learn about the femicides. I've been invited back, but this time I've been asked to talk briefly about my trip and more about feminist ethics/theories and how they connect to the UN's Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). I'm not sure about that.

Intimate Association: October 2010
http://intimateassociation.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
My thoughts on the world, feminism, and whatever else I feel like spilling into the infinite internet abyss. I just pondered all my blogs. What a depressing place, this Intimate Association has become! So, what's REALLY coming soon is something more upbeat that the past 20 posts have been. Here's to being easily annoyed, cynical, and happy all at the same time.*. PS The picture at the top is a visual of "happy".).
