What to do when you don’t know what to do | Warring Bride

Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. What to do when you don’t know what to do. July 29, 2008. How do we go hard after God when it feels like a distant memory? How do we manage the ebb and flow of life in God? How do we hear Him and meet with Him when nothing is working? Have I let Him down? Does He see what’s happening? Where do we go from here? That’s where I’m going…. Filed in Life in God. One Response to “What to do when you don’t know what to do”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. June 8, 2011. As my life is getting reorganized, I’ve wanted to resume blogging. However I find that with life being consumed by other priorities, it appears there is so much to write I don’t know where to begin. So, I’m just starting again. Continuing in prayer, continuing to share my thoughts and experiences, and hopefully words of encouragement as you start too. Filed in Life in God. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. The Mission | Warring Bride
https://warringbride.wordpress.com/2008/04/30/the-mission
Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. April 30, 2008. In April of 2008, I served as a missionary at the International House of Prayer Missions Base. In Kansas City, MO, serving God and people in the place of intercession. This was a non-traditional mission trip. There are many places I could have served in many different capacities. However, the place of service where I am most effective for The Kingdom is standing before God asking Him to save souls. Jesus, Luke 10:2. Build a w...

Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. Day 5 – Wednesday Afternoon Healing Room. April 26, 2008. Wednesday afternoon was different than the previous afternoons. I joined one of the healing room teams to minister healing to the sick. It was so much fun! It’s always neat to see God heal people, what’s crazy is that He partners with people to do it! Filed in Mission Trip. Day 5 – Wednesday Prayer Room. April 23, 2008. The 8am-10am set was dedicated to worship through Psalm 27. I spe...

To be noticed | Warring Bride
https://warringbride.wordpress.com/2008/11/26/to-be-noticed
Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. November 26, 2008. By whom do I wish to be noticed? What really is my motivation for striving toward good? So people will like me? So people will think I’m smart? To live in a way that honors God? Is it just a pretense, or is it real? I suppose if I really did consider all of my motives, it would be mix of it all. Jesus advised people of His day to “beware of. Practicing your righteousness before other people. To be seen by them. Then, what ...

Day 6 – Thursday Prayer Room & Healing Room | Warring Bride

Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. Day 6 – Thursday Prayer Room and Healing Room. April 26, 2008. I spent the afternoon with a few different healing room teams ministering healing to the sick. God touched many people and it was great fun. One of the things I came away with today is that intercessory missions work is hard work! You have to be diligent in retaining focus and disciplined in cultivating your own personal life in God to remain filled to minister to God and to othe...

Coming Home | Warring Bride
https://warringbride.wordpress.com/2008/04/27/coming-home
Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. April 27, 2008. The best part of any trip, is returning home. I came home a day early to spend Sunday with Mike. I got home just before 10pm and talked Mike’s ear off for far too long. It’s good to be home! The souvenir from KC, tiffin boxes. India, Pakistan, England, and now Minnesota! Filed in Mission Trip. Day 7 – Friday in the Prayer Room | Warring Bride
https://warringbride.wordpress.com/2008/04/26/day-7-friday-in-the-prayer-room
Thoughts on intercession, prayer, and life in pursuit of Jesus. Day 7 – Friday in the Prayer Room. April 26, 2008. My last day of service! It’s much easier to get up at 4:30am, I found a “routine” that works for me. 6am-8am I intercede as led and engage with the room. 8am-10am I spend time studying and worshiping God. 10:30am-12pm the room is more full of people so it’s fun to pray with others, laying hands on the sick for healing, praying for marketplace believers, etc. Filed in Mission Trip. You are co...
