Copper Country Chapter - Trout Unlimited. Conserving, Protecting and Restoring Cold Water Fisheries in Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula. The Copper Country Chapter of Trout Unlimited was founded on April 9, 1998 and serves Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula, including the counties of Houghton, Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Baraga, Iron, and Gogebic. The chapter's service boundaries include the watersheds of the Ontonagon River to the west to the Huron River to the East, and to the Sturgeon River to the south.
