Where I blog about farming, family, and life in general down our dirt road in Kansas. Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Since many of you have asked. I passed my Series 7 Exam on Friday! Tuesday, March 22, 2016. How are you "really" doing? I've been asked the question "How are you doing? A lot this week. Most of the time people use this phrase as a greeting, perhaps in replace of the word "Hi", and most of the time want a response of "Great! Or "Doing just fine! I can hear it in their voices that they really want...

All love that has not friendship for its base, is like a mansion built upon the sand. Ella Wheeler Wilcox. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. A Blessing for Kelson. I got to see my son for the first time after his helicopter ride to Urbana. I was excited to see him and Trever since I’d been away for both of them for about 24 hours, recovering from the C-Section. At this point he told me he wanted to have Kelson baptized. I was thoroughly against it. I was not giving up on my son. I knew he would be fine. I remem...

As a result, we've taken to very gingerly closing the door.but it still falls out all the time. It was purely an annoyance until the other day.when I locked myself into the bathroom. Here's what happened:. Finally, I found nail clippers that seemed to match the shape of the mechanism, wedged them in there and it turned! Monday, July 5, 2010.

A quick look inside.
A quick look inside. Throughout life you will meet one person who is unlike any other. You can talk to this person for hours and never get bored. You can tell this person things and they will never judge you. This person is your soul mate.your best friend, never let them go.". You said, "Don't forget,". So I put you in my pocket. Then I sat on you. Time to get away. Time to be thankful. Of what are you thankful for? Give thanks. Well.or not. Bear crossing the street. Bear crossing, bearing crosses. There...

Corn Fed Kitchen
Said of a woman, corn-fed means an individual who is strong and healthy, but lacks sophistication, typically. from the Midwestern United States (from Wikipedia). These are recipes from a strong, healthy kitchen, often lacking in sophistication, with strong roots in the Midwest and the South. This is just a straight-forward, simple recipe that I got off the internet and modified slightly for my particular oven, but I like it and it's worth a try. 3 C self-rising flour*. 1 12 oz. can of beer. I totally rip...
