Week four was very relaxing! Nothing but waves, and lonely islands. When we finally made it to Jesusita Islands, I had to run straight to the water! It was warm and calm and just purely relaxing. I have to say that this is where I have had the best food! We had bbq chicken, rice, crusted fish, veggies, and wine. Everything was spot on cooked to perfection! Ellen Janirha Velazquez Muralles. So it is the second day of week two in San Jose, Costa Rica. The first week went by quite slow, but at the same time very quickly. To start this blog off, I will begin with giving a little background on myself. My name is Ellen Velazquez Muralles, I am about to begin my third year at SRJC. As of now I am a International Studies major with a concentration in Third World Development. I truly cannot believe that week two of study abroad is already over! I felt like the trip was going by really slowly, but now I feel like it's flying by. The classes have been great! In Spanish, I am still enjoying being able to hep my classmates when needed, but now, another student and I are reading short stories and writing reflections on them which is nice because I love reading, and I am having the opportunity to practice my Spanish while doing something I do on my free time.
