Piątek, 20 września 2013. Sezon urlopowy się skończył.niestety. Na pewno macie wiele miłych wspomnień z tego lata ;). A kto z was nurkował i podziwiał piękne rafy koralowe? Ja niestety ich nie widziałam, ale Internet jest pełny takich cudeniek jak to :). Gwiazda dzisiejszego posta wie, że Ziemia jest piękna i to nie tylko na powierzchni. Pod wodą też jest kolorowo :). Pokażę wam dziś bardzo wakacyjną lalkę Kirę Ocean Friends. Np Barbie ma orkę, Ken delfina, a Kira ma fokę :). W pasie ma pasek z kieszonką...

A year long project, like a round robin, only it doesn't travel and you do the work yourself. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Step 1 (July '10): 6" square (finished size). Step 2 (Aug '10): add a piece 4x6" to the lefthand side of your starter block (or the right-hand side, if you prefer). Step 3 (Sept '10): add a strip 10x3" (finished size) to the top of your previous two blocks. Alternatively, you could add it to the bottom. Step 8 (Feb '11): Applique or embroidery something on your top. Cherie in St Louis.

Since I didn't chose to embroider something I took step 10 off and went straight to 11, quilting the top. I used perle cotton threads in size 12 and 8 and some shiny rayon DMC floss. Friday, June 25, 2010. And this little bundle of seven is just another reason for time getting away. At four weeks old they need to be run around and fed just as much as the people version do at the moment. With the school holidays upon us, I'm not sure when I'll be back. I need to wipe the camera and recharge ready for some holiday snaps. I'm off to visit my sister, so that should prove to be fun. Happy holidays to those who are having them! Wednesday, November 24, 2010. The last two Brutus stitcheries are complete. I have even stitched another since. However, the camera is off on a trip with DD who is enjoying some time out with friends celebrating schoolies week. Not amongst all the troublesome teenagers we see on tv, thankfully! Yes, DD has finished year 12 which means next year will see me being the mother of two university students. Ho hum! I must have missed the edition of the mag with the winners in? Has anyone seen it?

Monday, May 10, 2010. Look at what the mailman delivered to me. I recently won a giveaway from Lyn of Bluebird Quilts. The above is a photo of the trouble Lyn went to with the packaging.
