momsense: December 2008

Seeing the spiritual in the everyday. Friday, December 26, 2008. Despite how miserable I've been feeling only being a week away from my due date and dilated 3 cm, I managed to maintain some Christmas spirit for the family! We had a great Christmas with Silas. It's been so much fun to watch him enjoy snow, and snowmen, lights and opening presents! I truly treasure these moments and love this age where he talks to you! Here are some highlights from our holiday. Monday, December 22, 2008.

momsense: October 2008
http://everydaymomsense.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Seeing the spiritual in the everyday. Sunday, October 19, 2008. This morning at church I was challenged to make sure that heart and hands line up. Transformation and life-change can't happen unless they do. God wants to continually transform us from the inside out. I was challenged to make sure that my heart and hands are lining up and that my outisde reflects the work Christ is doing on the inside. So glad for our guest speaker who reminded us of this truth from Matthew. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Seeing the spiritual in the everyday. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Happy Birthday, Sophia! Where has the time gone? Sophia just turned one! She is learning to do new things every day. She has about four words and LOVES stairs. She hasn't taken any steps yet, but enjoys standing up and walking along furniture. She gets a kick out of Silas and loves to give kisses! We love you sweet, girl! So glad you're ours! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our church - the chapel at elmwood. Happy Birthday, Sophia!

Seeing the spiritual in the everyday. Friday, March 12, 2010. I know the plans I have for her! This morning I had a surprise for Sophia! She didn't know it, but I put together one of her birthday presents in hope that we could take it outside after lunch and enjoy this great spring weather! Little did she know what I was up to at 7:30am! God sees the big picture, knows the plans and is (always) working for my good. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Our church - the chapel at elmwood.

Seeing the spiritual in the everyday. Monday, March 15, 2010. I have been feeling rather convicted that I'm not reducing my carbon footprint. But this busy working mother of two toddlers has been a little pre-occupied with her select-a-size bounty and her array of plastic shopping bags! I know that we should each do our part to conserve and recylce, I just couldn't figure out how everyone (else) came up with the time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Seeing the spiritual in the everyday. Saturday, February 28, 2009. We feel so blessed to have two precious gifts from God: our children. I can't believe that he loves me THIS much! These are amazing gifts! Last Sunday we had the privilege of dedicating Sophia back to the Lord, honoring and thanking Him and committing to raising Her to know and love Him. It was a moving ceremony. Saturday, February 7, 2009. With two kids, the house sure is a lot busier! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
