Black Raspberries | An Audience of Ten
http://ten.karlemay.com/2012/06/28/black-raspberries-2
An Audience of Ten. Words, Images, Thoughts. By Karl E May - Thursday, June 28th, 2012. Ck raspberries in our yard. Not intentionally part of the garden. They appeared a few years ago. Seeds dropped by birds – or more accurately, pooped by birds – I suspect. Not much more to say of them. Like many plants, the black raspberries withered with the dry, hot, early summer. They plumped after the rain and I picked a pint for sorbet. Frozen they are like small, deep purple marbles. Not much more to say of them.

An Audience of Ten. Words, Images, Thoughts. Digging Out – A Story of Winter Part 1. By Karl E May - Monday, April 15th, 2013. Unless a new ice age is about to begin, a possibility I consider close to probability. In one of the narratives I play to amuse myself, global warming leads directly to a new Ice Age because the complex system we call. I like the Americana look of the photograph. To my eye, it suggests old prints of New England winters published by. Or Burl Ives – something and. I hope you enjoy.

An Audience of Ten. Words, Images, Thoughts. By Karl E May - Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013. While modifying the photograph, I wanted to bring focus to the figurehead and provide a better backdrop than dull sky. I considered masking in a new sky but to digitally paint instead. In my opinion result falls somewhere between photograph and digital painting. I hope it goes far enough. January 23rd, 2013 Chrome Poet. 4 responses to “HMS Bounty Figurehead”. Rain Finally | An Audience of Ten

An Audience of Ten. Words, Images, Thoughts. By Karl E May - Monday, June 25th, 2012. Rain Puddle on Oak. Winter passed without snow, or pretty much so. March came in like a lion then went out with a heatwave more appropriate to mid-June. April showers did not shower. In the merry month of May, grass withered from spring green to desert gold. By June 1, we were sitting in a northern-prairie tinderbox. Given the history. Of this place, a cause for concern. June 25th, 2012 Chrome Poet. Subscribe in a reader.

An Audience of Ten. Words, Images, Thoughts. Digging Out – A Story of Winter Part 2. By Karl E May - Wednesday, May 1st, 2013. I enjoy winter but hearing birdsong this morning set my soul on wings to soar with joy beyond that of snow falling like feathers. On the other hand, it could just be proximity. My favorite poem has always been the most recent. To say final adieu to our snowy winter, I share this photograph. About 6 foot 3. 8220;I put up with this for why? It snowed after I posted Winter Part 1.

An Audience of Ten. Words, Images, Thoughts. By Karl E May - Tuesday, February 26th, 2013. But, if you could stand with me beneath the black walnut trees, feel the refreshing cool against your skin, share with maples across the lawn sweet suggestions of rising spring, embrace promises of imminent, immanent green, breath braided perfumes of snow and ice reaffirming destiny with thaw, I think you would, like I do, feel a moment of cosmic awe.
