craftosaurus: our street is ready for thanksgiving

http://www.craftosaurus.blogspot.com/2011/11/our-street-is-ready-for-thanksgiving.html

Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Our street is ready for thanksgiving. No, this isnt the Thinking Post.  Im still mulling. Im also enjoying the wonderfully incongruous place where we live.  500 yards away is a busy road, three gas stations, and an access point to the highway. But 15 yards away? Turkeys. Eleven of them.  Weve seen them several times this week, so clearly they live around here. As long as they dont leave beak-shaped dents in our cars, Im psyched to have them as neighbors. That is so cool! Gift ...

craftosaurus: (to be fair, it disappeared long before it would've dried out)

http://www.craftosaurus.blogspot.com/2012/01/to-be-fair-it-disappeared-long-before.html

Saturday, January 21, 2012. To be fair, it disappeared long before it would've dried out). When I mentioned yesterday that I suspected I may have found a new go-to cake recipe, I was 100% correct. I made this recipe. For German Chocolate cake, and it was excellent. It's not health food, but it also won't break the nutritional bank. Ordinarily, I'd type out a modified repice for you here, but since I didn't change anything (I KNOW, who am I? The other thing I might change,. January 22, 2012 at 3:17 PM.

craftosaurus: how i roll

http://www.craftosaurus.blogspot.com/2013/03/how-i-roll.html

Sunday, March 3, 2013. Oh yes I did. Radio silence for two months, then back with an atrocious pun. Pow! I may never buy store-bought hamburger rolls again. I won't if The Awesome Husband has anything say about it, anyway. These were somewhat time consuming in a plan-ahead sort of way, but not overly difficult. My perspective may also be different now because the process of cleaning up after cooking finally involves putting bowls and spoons in our dishwasher. March 4, 2013 at 8:08 AM. Goodbye, old girl.

craftosaurus: new year, new furniture

http://www.craftosaurus.blogspot.com/2013/01/new-year-new-furniture.html

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. New year, new furniture. What better way to spend New Year's Eve than moving a large piece of furniture. That's what you guys all did too, right? I've been keeping an eye out on craigslist, at thrift stores, and the like for furniture we'd like to have in our new house. A desk for the semi-finished basement. More dining chairs. They're things we don't necessarily need right away, so we have the luxury of waiting for just the right whatever-it-is. Wow, thats gorgeous! Tag, I'm it!

A platform for one lady's affairs. DIY: Camera Strap Lens Cap Pocket. Recipe: Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies →. Five Documentaries Worth Watching. July 10, 2012. I’ve always loved documentaries. To our country’s food system. To the quest for the highest score in King Kong. All captivating and individually inspiring. 4) Fa...

The Nuthouse: Unfrozen -- Spring in Philadelphia

http://nuttyandnuttier.blogspot.com/2014/04/unfrozen-spring-in-philadelphia.html

Thursday, April 17, 2014. Unfrozen - Spring in Philadelphia. Last weekend, I went to Philadelphia for the NCAA mens hockey tournament, otherwise known as the Frozen Four. I was supposed to go down with my friends Joe and Allison, but unfortunately they had a death in the family and were unable to make it. So, as the official ticket courier, I headed down to meet Joe's grad school friends alone. The outside was covered in tiles for multiple stories. I liked the grotto feel. So I said "Sure! I also learned...

If you want, let me know and I'll add pictures of this skirt and dress I made from old sheets. This is a puffy quilt I made for an art project. The embroidery panels were pre-done fabric, and it's puffy because each panel has stuffing instead of batting- just wanted to show you I can make square quilts. Links to this post.
