Meghan E’s Blog. Phil’s Etsy Shop. October 6, 2009 — meghanbarbato. So, that September goal of 5 posts didn’t really happen, but at least I got some things done on my list. (I promise I’ll follow up with that eventually.) The real story is in the amazing crazy weekend we had. Phil and I had art shows in Richmond Friday night, in DC Saturday, and in Lancaster, PA on Sunday. Gallery, there’s an art market. Whiskerbears, and tons of his quick. I love that he lets me give away his stuff for more jewelry....
Third Duck: April 2009
http://thirdduck.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Wednesday April 29, 2009, 12:01:47pm. Dunkin Dounuts to survive. I have to start pondering my senior show. We're given a limited amount of space and should display our portfolio aesthetically, while also supporting the program. WHAT! The idea of putting my work up, the work that is important to me, all the 10"x10" handwoven samples, hell - it's just going to make a big quilt-like block by block installation of black mat board. How boring is that? Tuesday, April 28, 2009. My day...
Third Duck: January 2012

Sunday, January 22, 2012. Crayons are such a great tool. And this tutorial. Over at 52 Kitchen Adventures. Is a great example of a different way to use crayons. I think it would be a great piece of art for a kids' bedroom. It'd would be super fun to play with the color layout too. A great ombre or strie of colors would create a really great spray of colors. You'd be able to do this is narrow and wider sizes and soooo many options of colors and patterns too. Oh this excites me. I'm ready!
The Painted Lily: July 2010

Friday, July 30, 2010. Confessions of a Bookworm - Friday Finds. I Am A Bookworm print. From vol25 - $20.00. I recently read a shocking fact. Amazon has reported that the sales of their electronic books readers outnumbered their sales of actual books. Wow. As an avid reader, I'm saddened to hear this! There is nothing like the feel of a book. I love to see font choices, experience the feel of the paper and the smell of the pages. Leather bookmark from immortal longings - $4.99. From Arete - $7.00. This w...

Third Duck: The Sweetest Dress I Ever Saw
http://thirdduck.blogspot.com/2012/02/sweetest-dress-i-ever-saw.html
Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The Sweetest Dress I Ever Saw. Adorable dress for a little girl about 3 years ago and absolutely fell in love. I had no little girl to knit it for. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and dispite my gut instincts that said my sister was going to have a boy, she had Z. And now I have a little girl to knit for! You can find the pattern over at Tora Forseth Design. Along with many other modern twists on the cute baby knits. Can't wait to knit this up and show you how it goes!
Third Duck: June 2009
http://thirdduck.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 5, 2009. I finally got around to writing up the pattern for the Scooter Scarf! My scooterist had been asking for a scarf that would be warm and extra long for wrapping around multiple times - 7 feet was asked of me, and with double knitting. I only made it 6 feet. It's a simple pattern based on double knitting. The explanation of double knitting in the "Son of a Stitch and Bitch" book is really helpful. Wednesday, June 3, 2009. NEW CAMERA = MORE PICTURES! They are Cafe Mits.

Monday, October 10, 2011. I guess it has been just a while, I suppose it could have been even longer. But tonight is the night that I start to blog again. We'll see exactly how long this goes with whatever it is I have to say. I've been reading more blog posts from other people, and am seeing the benefits of blogging. You're allowing yourself to be open with complete strangers : 'HI strangers! I'm not seeeing a horrible affect considering I shared how many train hours with strangers.

Saturday, October 3, 2015. Sister Stamps Release #29 - Pixie and Bobo. For today's project, I decided to make a shaker card and have Bobo and Pixie peeking out from the sides. All of the images from this release are super cute and you can make them peek out from just about anything. I didn't try making tags, but I know they'd be adorable, too! The additional stamps and dies used for this card are from Papertrey Ink. Thanks for stopping by and see what the rest of the Design Team has in store for you:.

W przyszłym tygodniu wracam do was z nowymi projektami więc miłego weekendu! 2 DT Piątek Trzynastego.

Monday, April 4, 2016. All you need is a coconut, supplies to open the coconut (pointed object and hammer), and sugar. My pointed object is a screw driver. I pointed it at one of the holes of the coconut. My son decided to take over to hammer the screw driver in, making a hole. Next, the coconut water was drained. Take the hammer and tap all the way around the coconut until it cracks open. Next, scrape the coconut off the shell. I used a sharp knife. This is so good and addicting. Monday, April 04, 2016.
