The comfortable dining area has recently been added to the Inn and seats 26 covers. The dining room is open for evening meals from 6pm to 9pm and serves a wide range of meals including traditional Scottish meals with produce sourced locally. The dining room provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal and sample some of our real ales or our large selection of malt whiskies from the bar. The dining room is popular with locals and advanced booking is always advisable.

Thursday, 23 October 2014. Into Darkness from Abernethy to Glenfarg: 18th October 2014. Outward transport was as follows:-. Train: Glasgow Queen St. to Perth (41 on the hour others). Bus: Perth Bus Station to Abernethy (Stagecoach 36; 20 on the hour). The centre of Abernethy is now bypassed by the main road and so when I got off the bus I had to head up a narrow street towards the church, the small Museum of Abernethy.
