Starting with Sunday we were able to wake up together and attend church together. After church we had the home teacher come over and visit with us for a few moments. Wednesday, October 13, 2010. We ventured out for our traditional attendance at the Relay for Life while Nathan went to the Priesthood session of General Conference. The kids had a great time joining the community walk and choosing from the treats that some of the teams were selling to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Each of the kids chose a luminara to purchase in honor of Uncle Marcus who's having treatments for cancer and inspiring us all with his positive outlook and zest for life .

Sunday, January 30, 2011. We got home from Utah just in time for the Ridgecrest snow. It starting snowing Sunday afternoon and kept it up almost all evening. The trees and yards were beautiful by the time we went to bed. We woke up to even more snow and were glad to get the call that school was canceled for the day. Hooray! It was starting to melt when we went out to build our snowman around 10:30 am. But we got some good snow fun in. Even Mr. Snowy joined in on the snowball fight. Sunday, January 2, 2011.
