Celebrating what we do at Avenue. This week we have been learning…. In Topic, we started the week by writing our weekend news using Capital letters for Names of people and when using the word I. We then moved onto learning about the features of instructions. We wrote one set of instructions about how to make a smoothie and then we wrote another piece about how to get ready for home time. Homework this week is to practise spelling the next set of tricky words:. That, this, then, them, will with, see.

Celebrating what we do at Avenue. There will be catch up swimming lessons this week for those classes who missed their lessons last term. All of the children had their name called and got to shake hands with their teachers before being given a special sticker. We then took a photo of us all to celebrate.
