Life of an Army Wife. My life as an Army wife and new mom. Friday, November 28, 2008. Jolly Old Saint Nick. Carli got to meet Santa last weekend. She was curious at first yet a little hesitant. Then she got a little upset. Then she could not handle it anymore and let the tears flow. Maybe next year she will realize that he is the jolly one that brings all the presents. By the way, I had the same reaction to Santa when I was her age. This is a photo of me on Santa's lap for the first time. I Couldn't Do It.

As I looked out across the expansive ocean, I thought about the people I love that live across the Atlantic. I thought of my sister and her family in Switzerland. I pointed far in the distance and told Carli that her aunt, uncle, and cousin live way out there across the sea. Saturday, June 13, 2009. She gets bigger everyday.

Life of an Army Wife. My life as an Army wife and new mom. Monday, October 12, 2009. For example, go to a restaurant that you like by yourself with your child. It is okay. You don't always have to have someone else to go with you. 4 Realize that weekends are now the worst time of the week. You will look forward to Monday. Why? 7 Get a hobby. Find so...

I can't believe she is so big! We started the day with her getting her Easter basket. Then we had a wonderful time at church. Later that day, we went to an Easter party with our Sunday School class. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures:. Outside with her Easter basket. Digging through her Easter basket.

http://lvanderburg.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Life of an Army Wife. My life as an Army wife and new mom. Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Last night a few things happened that took me back to some memories from my childhood. I filled up Carli's baby pool and put the end of her slide in it. She went down her new water slide over and over again. My sisters and I used to love to do this same thing in our backyard. I couldn't find a picture of our slide from our backyard, but here is one of me, Meredith, and my dad at the slide at the park. Looking Up, .
