There were less than 200 of the tribe remaining when they were moved. The last full blooded Tillamook member died in 1959. Any decedents are now apart of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. S14 Northwest Costal Indians Blog. September 2, 2014. This weekend I had the opportunity to spend time in Tillamook and around Cape Meares. It was such an amazing experience to be able to hike around the land and see the beauty of the region. We hiked down to the ocean and searched for plant that would have been gathered by the tribe.
