Sunday, April 26, 2009. Ice Age Melt Down. I head into Fairbanks on Tuesday afternoon to finish up my work on the social studies curriculum. Fairbanks is always fun as I get to hang out with Pete and Nick and enjoy all of the amenities that town has to offer. We are already planning all the places where we want to eat while in town. Fairbanks also means the return of cell phone service. Ahhhh.the joys of heading back to civilization! Really leaving.what a turd. April 26, 2009 at 10:51 PM.

Monday, April 13, 2009. Easter and State Testing. I hope everyone had a great Easter holiday! Things were pretty busy here in Nulato. This week was state testing here in Alaska. Students in grades 3-8 take the SBA (Standards Based Assessment), equal to the Ohio Achievement Test. Students in high school take the HSGQE.
