November 25, 2010. I took this photograph today on a morning hike through a nearby state park. The day began gray and foggy, with a steady rain. I was determined, though, and I headed out to the park despite the weather. You just have to persevere, and when you do you are often rewarded. In this photograph, I love the juxtaposition of the bright red leaf peeking out from underneath the dull brown ones. It’s a reminder to me of the rewards to be gained from slowing down and looking around. Leave one →.
