Our Miss June turned 3 months last week! June has a sweet little dimple by her mouth. June is smiling a lot. June's a great sleeper (except for today). She loves her hands - they now purposely get into her mouth. June is a fantastic burper. Loud and strong. Apparently my sneezes scare June. She puts out a sad lower lip and wails. And Dallin turned 31 last week! We took an easy birthday with a couple family dinners. Yup, he chose the farm. They both had a good time. This lovely lady has a knack.

Yes, this is a 2 part blog. We recently returned from our family vacation to Bar Harbor and Acadia. As titled, here are the highlights. There were a lot of pictures. Running from the waves at Sand Beach. You can't tell by Dallin's apparel, but it was cold. Top of Cadillac Mountain. Our initial attempt at a cousin picture. At least Annie and Jack stayed put. Yes, that's Lizzy's shoe and backside crawling out of the picture. It helped a little to have Aunt Sarah and Grandma in the picture - a little.

About a month ago (yes, it has been a little while) my whole family surprised my mom in. Las vegas for her birthday. We don't all get together very often, so we made the most of it: lots of food, water show at the bellagio, lots of time playing with cousins, and an afternoon visiting lake mead. June loved the water. . . And lizzy loved the accessories of playing in the water. We had the official birthday party for my mom at the park. cake, swings, and a pinata. what else could you ask for?

I have been wanting to get Millie's ears pierced for a year. I kept asking her if she "wanted earrings like Mom". She told me no every time. So disappointing. Over Father's Day weekend we were shopping and I decided to take her into Claire's just to look at the earrings. Well, she was sold on the idea once she saw the Hello Kitty earrings. Yes! Unfortunately, their wasn't two employee's there to "double gun" her ears, so we didn't do it. A few weeks later, I took her to the mall and we got them done!

March: St. George. In March we took a trip to St. George to get the lawn trailer that was being stored in my parents garage.It was so nice being able to leave it down there for the winter months! We are loving my parents new place in Entrada. Such a beautiful place to stay. It was a really warm weekend (highs in the 80's! So we got to do a lot of things outside. We attended the Wisconsin State Fair. We had a great time as always trying the crazy new fair food of the year. This year it was the pork donut. Pulled pork between a sugar glaze donut. Jack loved the animals. He kept "baaing" at all of the sheep. We decided that it will be pretty crazy walking around the fair next year with three little boys instead of one! Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Earlier this summer, I was called to be on the Sandy Institute Council. This past weekend we had a leadership retreat in Bear Lake. Luckily, the family I am nanning for in Idaho flew me home so I wouldn't have to miss out. I am glad they did because we had so much fun! All the council members after our service project. We cleared out bushes, trees, and weeds on the Smith's property. A perfect ending to a perfect trip. Bear Lake just isn't complete without a trip to La Beau's.

Thanks to my sister Ali giving us tickets, Millie and I were able to go see the Disney on Ice show last week! I had wanted to get tickets for Millie and I to go for a while, but just never did it. So, when Ali texted me early in the week and said she had tickets, we jumped on it! The show was perfect for Millie. It had three princesses. Tiana, Cinderella, and Rapunzel. Rapunzel and gang was the best part of the show. Millie insisted on wearing what she calls her "princess skirt" to the show.

Well Benton has been checking the mail for weeks hoping there was something for him. Junk mail can only be disguised as being for him for so long before he catches on. This day there were two for him! One from a friend and one from the bowling ally giving him a free bowling game. He loved it! Emmett came up to me and said, "Look mom!
